Thanksgiving

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying your time off!

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? I know this is an American holiday, but will anyone be celebrating it? Or eating any turkey? :)
Tell me about your plans-if you are traveling or relaxing; how are you going to spend your time off?

As for me, my husband and I (and our cat, Tigger) are all going to Florida where my parents live.  We always have a really big Thanksgiving dinner.  My sister, her boyfriend, and my mother-in-law will also be there.  This year, I'm making the cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie (yum!)

Space

The unit we are studying now is about space.  Here are 2 questions. You can answer both, or just one of them.

1.  Do you believe there are other life forms that exist on other planets in the universe? Why or why not?

2.  Does your native country have a lot of interest in space? Does your culture and home country think that investigating space is important? Give some examples.

Technology

Technology is changing and progressing everyday.  Most people think this is positive; however, it could also have negative consequences.  What are some negative consequences of having better technology today? Do you think the positive aspects of advanced technology outweigh possible negative aspects? Why?
